About Ciconia Film
Ciconia Film
Stories grow from time spent with people and places.
Ciconia Film is the production company of Tamara Kotevska and Jean Dakar. We make documentary and fiction films about people, and about the landscapes, animals, migrations and memories that shape them.
Founders
Close observation. Lasting collaboration.
Our films begin with curiosity about a person and the world around them. We stay close, building relationships over time and giving a story the space to reveal itself. Documentary and fiction are different ways to explore the same questions: how we live, what we remember, and what we carry forward.
Across borders
Based in North Macedonia, working internationally. Each film brings together its own community of filmmakers, producers and distribution partners.
